Crazy Arm performed at Walk the Line Festival 2009

Having seen this band rocking 2000 Trees Festival, we couldn't resist booking this band to play at Walk the Line Festival 2009.

Plymouth quartet, Crazy Arm, is the versatile, roots-punk lovechild that arose from two popular city bands, NoComply and The Once Over Twice. Although forming in May 2005, it wasn't until their respective bands split up a year later that they became a more serious concern.

Pitched between the dark twang of 16 Horsepower, the punk thrust of Fugazi and Hot Water Music, the crunchy pop of Ted Leo and the protest songs of Dick Gaughan, the band have developed a distinctly progressive and aggressive style, shot through with a healthy dose of grass-roots politics. They rely chiefly on folk and country open tunings and slide guitars to evoke moods that are at odds with the punk orthodoxy.

They have completed five UK tours and many one-off shows, playing and striking up friendships with the likes of Sonic Boom Six, Failsafe, Howards Alias, Capdown, The Cut Ups, OK Pilot, Random Hand, Intro5pect, Chillerton, Lucero and The Casting Out.
