Welcome to Marathon are a rock band based in Cheltenham, “Welcome to Marathon” began in the summer of 2011when Pete Hick, Max Giegerich and Phil Bennetts were working at a summer camp
in the States teaching rock instruments to kids. Pete and Phil
convinced Max to move from Edinburgh to pursue the band in Cheltenham
and completed the line up with Pete’s Uni friend Ben Youatt.
