We are delighted to confirm our acoustic stage line-up for Friday the 4th October at The Swan!
Headlining the stage on Friday we have Truly Ford. A very talented 19-year-old with a sensational voice who writes and composes her own material. Inspired and compared to Tracy Chapman, Laura Marling and Lucy Rose, Truly Ford's unique vocals have also been compared to those of Florence Welch and Amy Macdonald.
Truly's unique vocals and enigmatic live performances have her pegged as 2013's 'Next Big Thing!' As of September 2013, Truly has been managed by BGM LTD and is working on material for her debut EP 'SuperNova'.
The Uke Junkies are made up of the brilliant Sarah and Andy, who met through playing at various ukelele events. They were both invited to perform individually on Record Store Day at Badlands, Cheltenham in April 2013, where Sarah spontaneously suggested to merge sets.
They played together at the Tall Ships Festival at Gloucester Docks in May 2013 and then again for the first time officially as The Uke jUnKiEs at the Gloucester Food Festival in July 2013. In August 2013, The Uke jUnKiEs supported the legendary Joe Brown at The Robin 2 in Wolverhampton.
