We are delighted to announce our first selection of acts performing at the festival. Our Friday headliner will be the fantastically polite Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer and our Saturday closing act will be beatbox sensation Shlomo. We also welcome local favourites Thrill Collins and KSH and the Going Goods.
After becoming the champion at the King of the Jam beatboxing competition in London, Guinness World Record holder, Shlomo, became well recognised for his original beatboxing techniques and talent. In 2004, Shlomo collaborated with Björk on her song ‘Oceania’, which was later performed at the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics in Athens. This performance reached an estimated 3.9 billion people around the world and was nominated for a Grammy Award. Being a favourite on the UK Festival Scene, he’s performed at festivals including Latitude, Bestival, Glastonbury and Lovebox, and has collaborated with global stars such as Ed Sheeran, James Morrison, Jason Mraz, Jarvis Cocker, DJ Yoda and Martha Wainwright. The Guardian said “the kid’s good. Jaw-droppingly good”. http://www.shlo.co.uk
Supporting Shlomo on Saturday night are hip-hop heroes KSH & the Going Goods. The world of hip hop is a desolate one... With gangsters, players, pimps and g-thangs dominating the scene, the beauty of the genre is being lost. Thats where KSH and The Going Goods step in. An alternative acoustic band, coming straight out of the “ghettos” of Cheltenham. A fresh a lively feel filled with laughter and banter, this new band is already taking the scene by storm.
Opening the festival on our newly added Thursday night of programming are local legends Thrill Collins. Probably the most successful covers band that you’ve never heard of - let’s just say they have a habit of rearranging some of the most epic pop songs of all time, with surprising results. The band have toured endlessly around the UK, US, Europe and Scandinavia, playing over 500 shows in the last three years. This Summer they spent yet another Summer on the festival circuit taking in Glastonbury, Truck, 2000 Trees, Y-Not, Wychwood, countless jazz and folk festivals as well as several European trips.
Festival goers can either purchase tickets for individual days, or purchase tickets for the whole weekend. This year’s venues will include The Frog & Fiddle, The Quaich and The Beehive.

Walk the Line Festival has been nominated for several years as a contender for the Best Metropolitan Festival Award by the UK Festivals Awards. The award is for “using the existing infrastructure of a town’s venues, this sector is growing thanks to no need for camping, very little threat from the weather and the ability to take place at any time of the year. Sold either on a show-by-show basis, or an all encompassing wristband, they give people chance to see multiple acts in the comfort of the indoors.”
